When JEE Main 2016 Results are expected?

JEE Main 2016 is the medium for the students to get admission in the prestigious colleges like IITs, NITs and GFTIs in various courses like B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning. Students can also get admissions in Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad through this JEE Main exam. So what else a student can expect from this exam. They know their future is secure if they get admission in any of these colleges. The pattern is changed for this year exam as we will have two stages for JEE Main exam now. The exam will be held in two modes; online and offline. We will tell you everything related to JEE main2016 exam in this post.
Important Dates for JEE Main 2016
• JEE Main 2016 offline mode exam – 3rd April 2016
• JEE Main 2016 online mode exam- 9th and 10th April 2016
• JEE Main 2016 Answer key and OMR display – 18-22 April 2016
• Declaration of JEE Main 2016 score – 27th April 2016
• JEE Main 2016 All India Rank (AIR) – 30th June 2016

Therefore April month is very crucial for the students as 90 percent of their result will be declared in that month only. They can easily analyse their position in this year’s JEE Main exam by looking at the JEE Main Answer key 2016 as well. These are the final dates declared by CBSE in its latest notification so we can’t say these are the expected dates because these are the final and accurate dates of the declaration of result of JEE Main 2016 exam.
Other dates regarding this JEE Main 2016 exams were:
• Last Date of application – January 11, 2016
• JEE Main 2016 Admit card availability – March 11, 2016

CBSE is the exam conducting authority for JEE Main 2016 and everything will be monitored by them only.
JEE Main 2016 Exam Pattern
This exam will be conducted in two phases:
1. B.E/ B.Tech – 3 hours
2. B. Arch/ B. Planning – 3 hours
Paper 1 will have three sections of equal weight age and these are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Physics – 30 questions- 120 marks
• Chemistry – 30 questions – 120 marks
• Maths – 30 questions – 120 marks
Therefore total of 90 questions will carry 360 marks and students clearing the cut off of this exam will precede to next phase of JEE Main 2016 advance level.

Paper 2 will have 3 parts; Mathematics, Aptitude, Drawing
• Mathematics – 30 questions – 120 marks
• Aptitude test – 50 question – 200 marks
• Drawing – 2 questions – 70 marks
Therefore this part of the exam will have total of 82 questions and 390 marks. That is why students have to work really hard for this paper in order to clear the cut off.
Paper 1 will be held in both online and offline modes whereas Paper 2 will be held in offline mode only. Negative marking is also there in this exam as ¼ marks will be deducted for answering the wrong question. So mark the answer only if you are completely sure about the answer.
JEE Main 2016 Answer Key
JEE Main 2016 Answer key is the paper containing all the answers of the Paper 1 and Paper 2. This document is released by the CBSE itself. The candidates also have a chance to challenge the answer in the Answer key and note their answer in the OMR sheet. This is a very good step for the students as they can analyse their performance easily and can predict their chances of selection in the exam. If they are not satisfied with the performance then they can plan other things related to their future and if they think they will be selected then they can prepare for the Advance level of JEE Main 2016 exam.
